With two air-conditioned queen bedrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a serene screen porch, you’ll experience the magic of St. John as you unwind amidst chirping tree frogs and the rustling rainforest breeze.

• Secluded Rainforest Retreat: Nestled in the lush tropical forest, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath 650-sq ft Cottage offers a private escape amidst the natural beauty of St. John.

• Staircase Entry: Park your rental car in our private parking lot and access the Verde Cottage via a 67-step, well-lit staircase, ensuring a sense of peaceful privacy.

• Air-Conditioned Queen Bedrooms:

  • Master Bedroom: The Master Bedroom is located off the screen porch and features a comfortable queen bed and stunning sunrise views.

  • Loft Bedroom: With a queen bed and private dressing area, the Loft Bedroom is located above the main living area and has beautiful water views. Due to the loft railings and narrow staircase, it is not recommended for young children.

• Cozy Living Area:Unwind in the air-conditioned living area furnished with a cozy loveseat and armchair. Play board games, read books, and stream your favorite shows on the 40" Samsung Smart TV.

• Well-Equipped Kitchen: The compact kitchen is equipped with a comprehensive array of cooking equipment, tableware, and appliances, everything you need to enjoy your stay! Please note there is no dishwasher.

• Screened Porch: Enjoy the lovely screened porch for al fresco dining and relaxing in hammock swings and a comfy seating area, with picturesque views of the East End of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. 

• Eco-Friendly Amenities: The cottage boasts off-grid capabilities with solar panels, Tesla Power-walls, rainwater catchment, and a triple filtration system. There is cell service and speedy wifi to stay connected to your life at home!

• Convenient Extras: Guests are provided with basic toiletries, soft goods, linens, and bath towels. For your island adventures, we supply beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler!

• Location: It’s hard to find a quieter, more relaxing accommodation on St. John. Surrounded by jungle without a neighbor or road in sight, the Verde Cottage offers peace and tranquility. The home is located 20 minutes from Cruz Bay, 12 minutes to Coral Bay, and 12 minutes to the closest of the beautiful North Shore beaches.

  Please note that a rental car is essential to access this property, and it’s recommended to book early due to high demand. The Verde Cottage offers a peaceful and relaxing getaway while remaining conveniently close to the island’s beaches, hikes, and stunning overlooks!
